*B Windsong Farm Rocket Science

Rocket Science

Rocket Science was born March 8, 2017, and I purchased him as a buckling from Windsong Farm in Missouri.  I have wanted to add some Windsong Farm genetics to the herd, as they breed for high production and milk quality that is some of the best in the region.  Rocket is A/A for the alpha-s-1 casein gene on parentage, which correlates to high casein production (high production of cheese per unit volume of milk), and means that all of his offspring will possess at least one A allele.  Rocket comes from a long line of really excellent milk producers (his dam, Six M Galaxy Sue's Truly Enya, was a 3x ADGA Elite Doe) .  I hope to see lots of color and improved milk production in his offspring.  He is developing into a robust, sturdy fellow, with good body capacity and nice feet.  He is a bit of a fool during breeding season, but his enthusiam on that subject produced some nice kids in 2018.  Although Rocket is no longer with us, his son, Tanglebriar Foxtrot should carry on his fabulous genetics and excellent temperment to future generations.
